My Goals

Goal 1: Earn my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies

Earn my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies and then pursue my Master's in Early Childhood Studies to continue expanding my knowledge of child development and effective teaching practices. Become a Program Coordinator for an Early Childhood Center or Public School.

To achieve this goal, I will continue my educational journey by earning my degrees. After completing my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies, I plan to research opportunities for ECE Program Coordinator positions in the Fort Mill and Rock Hill, South Carolina area. After gaining experience as a Program Coordinator, I will explore opportunities within public school early childhood programs and continue my professional growth by pursuing a master's degree.

This goal is meaningful to me because I am passionate about providing the best possible learning experiences for young children. Earning my degree will help me strengthen my skills, gain new teaching strategies, and become a more effective educator advocate. I plan to achieve this goal by staying committed to my coursework, applying what I learn in practice, and continuing to seek professional development opportunities.

Goal 2: Create A Nonprofit

Create a nonprofit that builds stronger partnerships with families to better support children's learning and development. Providing learning experiences for families, connecting them more with their child's environment.

This goal is important to me because I believe families are a child's first and most important teachers. By creating positive relationships and maintaining open communication with families, I can better understand each child's needs and provide more meaningful support. Strong family partnerships help create consistency between home and school, which benefits children's overall growth and success.
